Quote For the Week

This is Iron Man as adventurer and knight and… oh, let’s just have a quick burst of words. This is hyper-intense bursts of adventure and the future. This is about reclaiming the single issue story in the context of a larger narrative. 

-Kieron Gillen, on his upcoming Iron Man run for MARVEL NOW! If Gillen really can do that, if he can go ahead and carve out a space for single issue stories for one issue comics wholes that are only one order separated from the larger whole of an ongoing series, than it will be a thing of beauty. Of course, he's already managed it on a smaller scale, and I have to believe he'll manage it here, too.
