- DC's blog The Source shared Jock's cover art-process for the upcoming final issue of the first volume of "Detective Comics". Yes, #881 will be the last issue before the big DC reboot. [See above.]
- The Source also gave us Grant Morrison's commentary with Frank Quietly's three stages for the cover art of "Batman & Robin" #16.
- Comicsmith Monica Gallagher shows us how she stays awake in boring meetings: life-sketching people in the room!
- Jason May demonstrates inking with a slide-show of himself drawing and inking a page of comics on his website to use with a group of Fifth Graders he spoke to.
- Reilly Brown (recently on art for "The Amazing Spider-Man"!) posted character sketches on his Tumblr account for two characters: Mac and the Ice Queen from his own project "Power Play" with Kurt Christenson, mentioned at the end of his interview with us here at The Long and Shortbox Of It late last year. I believe this is the first time any work from this project has been released!
(Shhh... Don't tell anyone but I'm in charge of these things for a month while Josh is in Greece!)
